Blocking Tor Is Not a Solution, It's Paranoia

Today I learned (TIL) that my personal site was blocking Tor and escalated the matter to the firm managing the network and DNS. I didn't even know until Alex Oliva told me.
This is part of an ongoing issue. The hosting party is trying to cope with unbearable loads. I can more or less understand why they did this, but they never informed me. It also seems unlikely that Tor was the principal culprit, unlike plagiarism giants that misuse the term "AI".
Tor is not a crime, Tor users aren't criminals (people use Tor for various different reasons; years ago it was used to commit crimes against us), and those who think it's "OK" to just block Tor are losing many smart readers.
Speaking of criminals, why aren't the executives of Anthropic (and the likes of them) prosecuted? █
