A meteoric rise in GNU/Linux usage is realised quite belatedly by some more mainstream outlets, OEMs, gaming studios, and ISVs based on numerous surveys that cannot simply be dismissed or ignored as sensationalism, bots, hearsay, and so on.

In some of the "communist" nations that have good reasons to not trust GAFAM (to say the least; they ought to consider and see GAFAM as a hostile entity) GNU/Linux usage appears to have grown. █
