Firefox in Trouble in the US, Down to Lowest Level in 20+ Years
Now the Web developers in American government sites aren't legally required to ensure Firefox compatibility:
In the US, the rule goes (according to some insiders who are credible) something along the lines of, all browsers with 2+ percent market share need to be properly, fully supported. So Mozilla Firefox, with a new release this week, cannot stop the bleeding with slop (it's clearly not what Firefox users want!) and more sites will stop or intentionally neglect Firefox support.
Of course they should work towards standards/specifications (compliance), but GAFAM worked to make the Web overly complex and only few companies can keep up; so in practice sites work towards "brands" of browsers, not towards standards.
Going by Clownflare or statCounter won't limit the scope to government sites.
The Mozilla CEO who put Firefox on this irrational slop course 'made a bank' (probably about 20+ million dollars in salaries) and left in disgrace. Her name was Baker, we call her Banker. Instead of hoarding so much money that no single person can meaningfully spend she could keep 100 or more people employed rather than laid off. We see the same problem at IBM. █
