The IBM Censorship Team, PIPs (Silent Layoffs) in IBM Europe
2 days ago: Fired by IBM for Medical Leave, Rampant Censorship of IBM Critics Explained
Censorship at (and by) IBM is a real problem and staff is trying to find a space that won't hide information. This, for example, was in recent hours, talking about the above-mentioned Reddit censorship:

We've long pointed out that these platforms are subjected to "moderation" in the interest of advertisers. In thelayoff.com, calling the previous IBM CEO "Gin 'n Tonic" is impermissible. Figure out why...
Having said that, in thelayoff.com there are discussions about PIPs and actions leading up to RAs:

mass PIPs reported in Europe:

This is somewhat expected based on the IBM European Works Council [1, 2]. PIPs let them do layoffs more cheaply. It's also covert enough; shareholders won't notice.
There are further discussions related to that in recent hours:

As quoted the other day: "At IBM and other technology companies, terrible management treats their employees as a number. There is no human element anymore to decent management. If you are sales, you are measured on your quota attainment and utilization if in services."
13 hours ago someone responded to that, stating: "Exactly. At IBM, employees often become nothing more than metrics on a spreadsheet. And in Albany, it can go even further as employees are very frequently used to advance management’s own hidden personal agendas rather than the interests of the business or the people doing the work."
There seem to be many de facto layoffs going on at IBM right there. There is also suppression of reporting about it. Apropos suppression of reporting about it, a 'former' Red Hat person attempted to put me in prison. He thinks this sort of thing is "funny". He thinks lawfare with a budget of over a million pounds, funded by unnamed third parties, is OK. █
