Rumours of More PIPs and Layoffs at Confluent Just Months After IBM Bought It

A few months ago IBM laid off almost 1,000 people at Confluent. The media did not talk about it. Go figure...

There are now rumours that it's happening again:

This was hours ago:

After an incredible 5+ Year journey with Confluent, an IBM Company, it’s time to close one chapter and begin another (details soon).

It is meanwhile apparent IBM will have mass layoffs next week (September). Asked by the media, IBM does not deny it [1, 2]. █
