Record Highs for GNU/Linux, Especially in the United States of America
According to analytics.usa.gov, Firefox is down to about 1.5% "market share" in American government sites (when it is below 2% Web developers are allowed to ignore it) and GNU/Linux is at almost 6%, a third of what Vista 11 stands at. If mobile (e.g. Android and iOS) gets removed, then the "market share" of GNU/Linux is about 9%, still about a third of what Vista 11 stands at.
Vista 11 was released more than 5 years ago, so it doesn't make Windows look particularly potent. It's about 1AM here (UK), so statCounter has been updated to show final figures for August:
