Bots talking to other bots isn't HR; it's a catastrophe

When/if everyone jumps the queue and cheats, then it normalises the practice (acceptability) and compels everyone to cheat similarly.
The above article, from a slop-loving site, seems to be missing the point. It's not about a lack of jobs per se; the issue is, the system is being gamed. It was always gamed, but not to that extent. Similarly, there were always bots on the Web, but they didn't swallow millions of pages per hour for no purpose other than plagiarism engines.
We all stand to lose when bots talk to other bots and they call this "recruitment". They are making a selection for "best cheaters" (or liars), not competent people. What people said about IBM this morning: "Job market's still great for co-k su-kas. That's why IBM management's got nothing to worry bout."
