The old me is still living in this house. I have such a hard time to see myself living anywhere else. As if it was impossible. I feel like it's time to move.
The memories of raising my daughter in this house keep me still, keep me stuck. This is the place where I spent the most time in my entire life. Yet I feel alien to this place, to this community.

Never Settling
I tend to go through cycles of what I like to use. That's one reason why it's difficult for me to get rid of things I already own. I own both a large wallet that can carry a chequebook and a small wallet that fits in my front pocket, and each year I swap them out and change my everyday carry style completely. One day I want to confine my computing to one location on a desktop computer; six months later, I'm living on my Gemini PDA as an ultraportable, and by the end of the year I've moved back to a laptop, only to switch to my DevTerm and finally back to my desktop. I love the utility of a large notebook, only to desire the portability of a small notebook, and I long for the feeling of writing with my fountain pen while missing the versatility of a basic ball-point.
