The PIPs or 'Voluntary Termination Offers' Help IBM Fake Its Situation
Earlier this month: Layoff Trackers Are a Sham, They're Like US 'Unemployment Data'

Earlier on someone wrote about not one IBM PIP but two. This is the first time we witness this:

This person seems to have "gotten the message" and is leaving. As it was put hours ago: IBM PIPs Are Layoffs (RAs Come Later Even If You Satisfy the "Performance" and "Plan")
"Heard of RA coming in October or maybe December," another person said, "any manager here who can confirm this news for India location"?
To quote: "Few of my friends are saying there will be a layoff in December .. and few are saying it could be October... Decision might be made on attendance or performance not sure.. some are saying that manager have been asked to remove high band people from their projects.. lots of speculation.. can anyone who is a manager in India or is in close circle with the managers of India clear the air about this."
Someone has responded: "With the amount of PIPs lately and the "NextStep" voluntary termination offer a month or so ago, it very much looks like IBM has been trying to reduce the number of layoffs that they'd need to do, leading up to this last quarter. It's gonna happen."
There's a lot more in there. In thelayoff.com, people explain that "IBM is not a tech company" and it spits out the staff it buys with companies acquired to help fake revenue growth.

The debatable thing or a key parameter is, when will an "RA" be triggered? Or how many people will be bullied out of the company before it finally admits the cuts while disclosing a phony number (scale and scope)? █
