Linux Kernel Becoming a Slopfest - Part 1 - At the Beginning (Torvalds Knew It Was Trouble)

Today commences a new series. Linux is becoming bloated (hardly a new concern, it's inelegant). Kernel.org also shows that it's full of LLM slop. So quality has deteriorated.
We'll soon see that the most prolific or worst culprits are Microsofters (yes, perhaps not surprisingly), even by a large margins.
Moments ago in IRC someone said, "Microsofters' "therapy" of Torvalds back in 2021 paid off, he himself is now turning back against freedom and more e-waste now" (citing what we published a month ago)
Every project or distro that contains Linux is now at least partly made up of slop. Even Linux-libre (GNU) cannot remove all this (it's like trying to remove, surgically, cancer from a brain where all the cells are more or less infected, it's not an isolated lump anymore, everything metastasised). I spoke to the developer of Linux-libre about this over a month ago. He is aware of the problem and he strongly dislikes slop. We still wonder if we should make and actively maintain a shame list (developer/employer) for the people who contaminate Linux the most with slop plagiarism.
Remember that many use LLMs to cheat and then don't disclose that, so we rely on developers openly admitting misuse of LLMs to insert botspam into Linux. █
