The Only Still-Supported Version of Windows Breaks Itself (Again), the Microsoft Layoffs Will Carry on in Secret

After 5+ years "out there" Vista 11 is an utter failure. No amount of polishing or lipstick on this pig will change that. Worse yet, due to "Microsoft's Mass Layoffs" there is "Impact" on "the Ability to Run Microsoft". This means Vista 11 will break in many ways. Spaghetti slop 'code' will make maintenance even harder. It'll become unmaintainable.
Then what?
What does Microsoft even sell at this point? Its own shares? It pays workers in "stock".
Does that sound alarming? It should.
Last night we showed more examples of Microsoft layoffs happening secretly (some media reports do confirm the shadowy details). It's not happening only at Microsoft; it's a GAFAM thing and Apple isn't exempted (mass layoffs last month).
At IBM, as this hours-old thread put it, there's a "US September PIP" (one of so many!). It says: "PIPed this month after receiving salary increase for the first half. Been with IBM 8 years. Should I expect to be let go? Can they let me go before the PIP ends? There were multiple put on PIPs in my group. We are all expecting to be let go in December if the rumors are correct."
Apparently 10% are impacted, as we noted earlier this month. The first comment says: "You are history. Start looking for another job now."
"You need to do some math," another one says. "The exit target for this (fake) pip season is 10%. if your manager put exactly 10% of the team on pip, I am sorry, but it is over for you (your manager will use anything to fail your pip). Sometimes, managers put some extra ppl on pip, to give better optics, so some ppl will pass. This is how laughable this is. It is just theatrics..."
Same at Microsoft. In the US they marked about 7% for removal just this past summer.
When will managers and CEO be put on a PIP for their demonstrably poor performance? █
