43rd Anniversary of the GNU Project Announcement
Coming soon

"My service hasn't seen that much use," somebody wrote some years ago (at "olduse.net", a site by Adam Sjøgren), "but it did get its own version of "FSF-dotting", when the 30th anniversary of the GNU project announcement was celebrated, and many sites linked to the original article on article.olduse.net."
This "links to RMS announcement about GNU," a reader has noted, so we we've dived in.
Google is waging an attack on USENET (a topic for another day), so this page which preserves the 1983 message is important. The FSF also has a copy. █

Google being Google (evil), not even archives will last. So linking to Google to show some old USENET message/s is a mistake. It'll become a broken link.
