Linux Has Conquered Mobile, But Desktops and Laptops Matter More

To get real work done, at least in the US, people use "real computers", not tiny screens that glow and emit sounds to feed an addiction.
Google has conquered the mobile world with Android, which runs Linux (as its kernel), but it's also devolving into a maker of spyware terminals. As Tom's Hardware has just put it: "Google confirms ChromeOS phase out in 2034 — 10-year support lifetime cut short for some devices, company says it will support transition to Googlebook OS" (another pile of spyware).
When people say the desktop "doesn't matter" they seem to be missing the point that workplaces use desktops (or laptops) and a lot of the work gets done not on skinnerboxes but "workstations" or terminals.
The campaign for GNU/Linux "world domination" (GNU also; it seems like the Rust cultists try to infect OpenBSD right now with their experimental, defective coreutils*). █
