We Don't Do Slop

Slop is driven by hype. Hype keeps it going. In spite of trillions in losses!
Slop is used by people that I know only because their employer forces them to. In coding, text etc.
It's not that they like it; they don't have a choice (other than to quit their job).
Techrights is not a job but a collective of volunteers, a community that runs the site using passionate hobbies (skills) and interest in the reporting. Our missions aren't commercial.
Techrights has never used slop:
- For text (except without knowing about it)
- For images (except if generated by some third party site that didn't flag it properly)
- For video (although we can recall sharing a fake video of Campinos singing "I will survive!" - a short clip which was obviously humorous and nobody would mistake for a real thing)
- For code
We are doing absolutely fine without slop. Heck, dare we say we do fine because we reject slop? People tend to appreciate genuine work, not fakes. █
