Stallman Was Right About Torvalds

posted by Roy Schestowitz on Oct 17, 2026

The crowd/audience Linus Torvalds panders to is paid by GAFAM to go attend and dominate (speak at) LF events. They're people whose employer forces them to use slop, it's inorganic.

Unlike RMS:

Talk by Stallman

Plagiarism is just a tool
Means by which to fool

Slop is the future
A new adventure

Fortunes afoot
Debt and loot

Audits begone
Show must go on

Freedom to slop
'Til you drop

Get on with the show
Haters of plagiarism must go

Welcome to Pentagon
A sloppy phenomenon

Back doors by LLM
Or China wins a gem

An "arms race" "revolution"
Slop always the solution

Disclosure my arse
Nobody accuse, nobody dare ask! █

linus torvalds lectures to bots and sponsors; It's just a tool; Paying the LF pays off

Related: No Linus Torvalds, you are not just using a new and interesting tool
