  • Dao

Dao is such a great idea. Although Dao is not an entity -- neither is space -- Daoism usually is represented by the Yin-Yang symbol.

Yin can be space, Yang is, therefore, entity. So, there is space; and... before entity... there is separation; then, entity. Now it is and space, and separation, and entity.

  • Stargate Page is up

I need to add Atlantis, I'm thinking now I need to separate the two, but I'll sort that out later.

  • A Dream dated 24'th of May, recorded that Morning

We have been searching the sands for gemstones, and we have found a lot, and besides them we have found many stone artifacts of a people unknown and long forgotten. Here is a vessel of straight shape; it measures two cubits long, one wide and one deep. Long ago it bore an ornament--now but traces remain, and running my hand along its surface polished by time I can barely feel a bump. A single green gemstone has been spared by the sand, its brethren likely having fallen off and been lost, and thus the labour of an ancient artist has amounted to one emerald in my pocket.

In the middle of the desert, a gaping maw of a descent shines black, its throat full of stairs-teeth. Had it not been for the architects of the bygone era having constructed it in such a way that sand cannot enter any chamber past the first one, it would have been long buried. We go downstairs. A single room greets our entrance; it has aged well, and unexpectedly so; albeit all the furnishing is of the same stone that makes the bedrock, carved rather than put together, and most of it is not decorated. Around the table, there stand marble kings. Cut well, as if alive--no, they are forsooth alive, and the warmth of our breath has melted the ice of the ancient curse.
