"I just heard the result of the Italian elections and it appears Berlusconi is back in power. I had never heard of his opposition, Walter Veltroni, before this election. Possibly because I only have a minimal knowledge of Italian politics. I was curious and decided to look him up in Wikipedia. What struck me is that he's yet another European politician who is a Bilderberger. So, with Italy, it looks like there wasn't much of a choice as far as foreign policy goes.
"It's amazing what a pattern has developed with all of these Bilderberger European politicians: Blair, Brown, Merkel, Rasmussen, Sarkozy, etc. It's kind of sickening. Is this some kind of new European tradition and a sort of "rite of passage" to qualify a politician as a candidate for leadership? Even though I'm American, I feel heartened and surprised when I hear a European politician (like Chirac) who is willing to criticise the US."
