Trademark law is not a bad thing and it is not something that Richard Stallman (RMS) opposes. In fact, the FSF has complained to the FSFE about their misleading name and insisted that it should be renamed. Other leaks have demonstrated what FSFE really stands for (not just literally but also in practice). It takes money from Microsoft and Google.

The video above does not mention the name of this "new GNU" or the perpetrators (previously we saw many IBM/Red Hat employees). It does, however, warn about the motivations. These people aren't trying to promote freedom and kindness. They just try to demote the founder and exclude him. How very kind of them... ⬆
