Summary: Lately there has been a ton of misinformation and 'spam' in the media (Edge, UPC and so on) and we need to respond to it or at least explain what's happening; in order to do this efficiently we'll use video, together with short texts that accompany and explain the gist of it

THE current publication format and style in this site will change in favour of more rapid and more frequent releases of short posts in the form of videos, Gemini pages, and Web pages. Over the past couple of days we adjusted the workspace accordingly. The video above explains more.

Our 15-year anniversary is celebrated this coming Sunday, which means that Monday onwards it is our 16th year. The goal will be to respond to misinformation quickly and very often, focusing on software freedom, patents, and various "tech rights" issues. Today we expect to make about half a dozen videos (think of it as a "pilot") and we'll see how long we can sustain such a rapid pace for. The videos will of course be shorter than the more recent videos which were about an hour long (almost exclusively about EPO scandals).
