Summary: The site Beta Noise ("News") is a GNU/Linux-hostile propaganda mill of Microsoft that's moreover posting webspam, misleading clickbait, FUD, and even shameless plagiarism

THE site Beta Noise ("News") deserves a boycott. Even when it covers "Linux" the coverage tends to be hostile, plagiarism, or ridiculous clickbait -- a sort of misinformation.

Case of point? Here's a new one, only 12 hours old...

RAR is just some ancient proprietary codec/compression algorithm, GNU/Linux users overwhelmingly adopt Gzip."

We actually spotted the official CISA announcement about this almost 24 hours ago. Internal discussion said: "This post is about Microsoft and about Windows. But it does not mention either "Microsoft" or "Windows". Typical CISA."

The above isn't even a "Linux" issue, it's an issue in a program few people even have installed! Moreover, in order for it to be exploited one need to retrieve some very rogue file.

Suffice to say, the above site is infested with Microsoft boosters and spinners. The clickbait makes it worse, as does the webspam. ⬆
