The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: Guidelines docs on ftp.debian.org.

Hi folks,

I would like to weigh in with an opinion that the revision field should be
mandatory. Two reasons:

1) Stylistic preference (based on reason #2).

2) Consistency. The world of free software has virtually no consistency
with regard to naming packages &ct. This has been used as an argument
that we should not worry about being consistent. This is nonsense.
Debian is not /just/ a collection of random packages thrown together,
Debian is a cohesive whole built from separate pieces. We should strive
for standardization wherever we have control over the process.
