Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

are we nearing a consensus here?

Well, this has been surprising. I didn't think I'd see Ian "Underbar
Characters Make Me Vomit" Jackson coming out in favor of long,
parse-able file names with verbose architecture fields :-) . Other than
that, nobody other than David Engel and myself has demonstrated reverse
peristalsis over long filenames with double-dashes and multi-character
architecture fields. Several key players made sympathetic noises over
the proposal. I am willing to go with the majority. That leaves David and
anybody else who decides to but in. Last chance.
