The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

beta announcement

Currently there are two things holding up the public beta announcement.

1. I was going to write a document on the upgrade from 0.93, and I was going
   to make a new directory in the FTP archive to hold some pre-upgrade files.
   I spent all last evening fixing that security bug and killing bugs in the
   bug list, and haven't finished the upgrade stuff.

2. The mirror sites are stalled. Ftp.microworld.net and ftp.debian.org are
   both two days behind master.debian.org, and most other mirrors are hanging
   off of ftp.debian.org . I have been nudging Matt and David, and hopefully
   something will move soon. However, Matt and David are flying to Microworld
   and may be difficult to reach. This is probably a good time for me to
   designate a backup top-level mirror site - I'll see who has the capacity
   and who can talk to master.debian.org without troublem.
