The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

It's a Debian policy decision. There's no problem with packaging
non-free programs. We "welcome" them. However, contrib and non-free
not an official part of the Debian distribution, they are accessories
that contain programs that do not meet our standards for some reason.

We market the Debian distribution as being "entirely freely redistributable
software". That's an important statement for us to make. We then say that
"a number of non-free programs that can be installed on your Debian system
are available in the non-free directory of our FTP archive".

I'd be more comfortable if we removed non-free and the programs in it.
However, a majority of Debian developers are against that.

	Thanks
