The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

My cfgtool package is supposed to take us into this direction. It
provides an easy way to do the storing and querying of values. Also,
it stores the values in a central place, making it easier to copy
them to a new installation.

Right. The current plan is to have this done for 1.3.

I made a new version of cfgtool (and Publib) today. Nothing really
new, just rewritten so that the database manipulation is available
as a library (in Publib). This should make it easier to write other
user interfaces etc. See <http://www.iki.fi/liw/programs/>. Note
that the current version doesn't support help files. (I got tired
and wanted to do other things... They're trivial to do, though, and
should only require an hour or two.)
