The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

We need to keep the non-free and contrib directories separate
from the rest of the distribution. They are not official components of
the Debian distribution, because the programs in them to do not fit our
standards in some way. In the case of non-free, the programs in there
have restrictive licenses or are encumbered by patents or legal
restrictions. In the case of contrib software, there is some reason we
don't want to support those packages or they do not meet our
standards. For example, packages that don't come with source code. For
good marketing reasons the Debian distribution is entirely free
software with all source code.

I don't object to structuring the non-free and contrib directories to
look more like the main directories. I think it's a good idea to put
the license in the archive in a .txt file with each of the non-free
packages, so that people can easily decide to include them or not.

	Thanks
