The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Proposed: a debian-policy list

I would like to set up a debian-policy mailing list where we can have
ongoing discussion of the policy statements in our two manuals.

Editing the Policy/Programmer Manuals has been a most interesting project.
I have certainly learned a lot more about how all that works.

While most of the ideas I've received were easy to figure out, there were
a few ideas proposed to me and on the debian-devel list that need further
discussion. Like Bernd's suggestions for some modifications to the
copyright section (which Ian warned me not to touch :) that merit further
discussion.

And I for one find it difficult to wade through all the wonderful stuff in
the debian-devel list (I use filters a lot) and think that discussion
would be most efficient and helpful in a different list.

What do y'all think? If I don't hear any objections I will set one up
tonight and announce it in the debian-devel list.
