The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

prototype beta test announcement

I am testing the 4-disk base archive now. As soon as we get that up and
XFree86 3.2 is in place, I'd like to announce a public beta test. First
it will be announced on debian-user, and as soon as we are satisfied that
there aren't any tremendous problems, it will be announced on c.o.l.a .
That will give us the perception of the system being out, and some time
before anyone makes a final judgement of it. I'd prefer that we schedule
formal worldwide beta tests in the 1.3 and subsequent releases. I think
that the lack of a formal _public_ beta was the only real problem in Brian's
schedule, and otherwise he did an excellent job.
