The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: PLEASE DO NOT RELEASE 1.2 WITH XFREE86 3.1.2

A one week test is not sufficient for packages as important as the X
packages. One month would be better.

I am probably in a minority here, but I would prefer to release 1.2 as
is, with a strong warning about security issues and a description of
how to update to the 3.2 X packages from unstable, if security is
desired.

Many, perhaps most, Debian users don't need to worry much about
security. Those who do need to worry will be able to make their own
decision on whether to update to 1.2. I believe that the bug exists
in Debian-1.1, so we won't be introducing a new bug, though we will be
keeping an old bug.

Frankly, I think that releasing on time is more important than
fixing on old (albeit critical) bug.
