The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Composit list of reported problems with 1.2

I made a collection of all the reports on upgrading to 1.2 and have
condensed these reports into a list of problems. The first seven in the
list have been reported at least twice. The remaining issues were only
reported once.
This should probably be considered as a good starting point for fixes with
reguard to 1.2. In addition to these reports, I would also add the
following two problems:

A. Adduser depends on perl-suid, which is not a base package.
	This dependency should be removed.

B. Mc still fails to declair it's dependence on libgpm.
	This dependency should be added.

Here's the list:

More than one report:

1. Already reported as a bug: Can't find xlib6 so file.
Add /usr/X11R6/lib to ld.so.conf and run ldconfig.

2. Dselect fails to satisfy pre-depends for perl (libdl1)
Installing ldso by hand solves the problem.

3. New sendmail fails to use old .cf file
One report indicates re-installation fixes the problem.

4. Cron dies.
	No solution yet reported.

5 Gcc depends on cpp, but cpp conflicts with gcc.
	Retag gcc and re-run deselect.

6. Modconf messes up screen display on some lines.
	No fix reported.

7. /bin/perl disapears and reappears during installation.
	Solution unknown.

Single reports:

8. gpm preinstall can't remove old gpm
	No fix reported

9. xbase can't remove xdm and xfs
	No fix reported

10. libg++ and libg++-dev conflict.
	Re-running the installation fixes it.

11. dependent packages bomb because libc5 is not installed first
	Upgrade base first.

12. no /dev/sr0 from MAKEDEV
	No fix reported

This looks like quite a few "nits" are still left in the distribution.
