The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: Bug#6009: upgrade from 1.1 to 1.2 faisl due to perl (fwd)

I'm not sure I agree that this is a "show stopper", but it certainly is a
problem. It seems that dselect doesn't upgrade base first, although I have
never delved too deeply into dselect, this seems to be a general problem
for pre-depends. Also it seems that perl is always causing problems with
the install, but that's probably just coincidence.

Is there a way to fix this?

after installing lo.so by hand, the upgrade started to progress. i
would consider this a very serious bug (actually a show stopper) and
suggest that you send a message to the announcement mailing list about
it,
