The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Election

I have these people currently listed as Board of Director candidates.

	Dan Quinlan
	Klee Dienes
	Ian Jackson

If you wish to be a candidate, please tell me.

Candidates, please write your platform and email it to me for publication
as soon as possible.

We will be filling 8 board seats, and the board will then elect a
member as chairman and any developer as president. The four members who
have the most votes will be elected to two-year terms, the remaining four
will be elected to one-year terms. It is my intent that all board positions
in subsequent years have two-year terms, and that we elect half of the board
each year.

After the election, I will submit my candidacy to the board for a one-year
term as president, others may also do so without any rancor on my part.
Someone else should probably be chairman.

Developers are those who are currently maintaining at least one package.
I understand this cuts out a few people who are worthy of the full
privileges of a developer, but it will have to do until our board drafts
a constitution. Each developer will have the same number of votes. Someone
please volunteer to run the voting system. I'm still a bit vague on how
many votes each developer should have. Whoever volunteers to run the voting
system can help me with that.

Debian should continue to be run by the developers. The purpose of the
board is to provide a stable framework to support election of officers
and business functions, and to provide broad direction on policy in
response to input from the developers. Officers should make day-to-day
policy decisions.

The date of the election will be announced shortly. Call me Slobodan again.

	Thanks

	Bruce Perens
