The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

My view is that this is our decision to make. Let me briefly answer
these complaints:

* Lying about our ancestry

We can require official packages to put an approved paragraph about
Debian on the outside of the product. It could be that this concern
is really a reflection of political views. That is, people who hate
corporations.

* $2 CD fee

Tough. We have a good product. If people don't like the $2 fee, they
don't have to make official CDs. Someone else will make them.

Also, we can sell products and become a recognized non-profit
company. (For example, girl scouts sell cookies.)

* The big picture

If you have enough people (like on Debian devel), someone is going to
whine. Elect a board and you will only have to answer to them.
