The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

What a ridiculous thing to say!

Debian's alive and well and still growing at an amazing rate. The
problems we're having are growing pains, not a death rattle.

I wasn't being sarcastic about that point.

this is where i was being sarcastic.

Who said that *all* debian users will do this? I certainly didn't.

I agree with having a 'stable' tree. Although i think it's a misnomer
... it is IME less stable than unstable. It should be called 'frozen' or
'snapshot'

I believe that debian should focus on providing the best possible LIVE
distribution, but still have release schedules to cater for those who
dont have good net access and those who prefer to install from a cdrom.

Except for improving quality control (which is a never ending process -
any thing can always be just slightly better than it is now), the only
real change is one of attitude and focus.
