The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

What you are doing _means_something_

This message pretty much speaks for itself. If you ever need a reason
for why you work on Debian, here's one.

Bruce

Much of what we do in our department is done under Debian Linux.

We teach my first year CS students using g++ 2.7.2 running under Debian
Linux. We find the reliability of this operating system exceeds that of
any version of Unix or of any Unix workalike operating system we have
used.

All of the following are taught on machines that run Debian Linux:
The operating system sequence, and the remainder of our operating system
and networking courses, our web server, and web page construction.

Our student system administrators (under the sponsorship of the Student
ACM Chapter) teach system administration using the Debian System. The
entire Departmental Laboratory for CS Majors runs Debian Linux. Our
student system administrators have gone above and beyond the call of duty
in tailoring the Debian System to a size that allows 20MHz 4MB 386
machines to run essentially as X-terminals.

The support from the Debian associates and members of the mailing list
has been invaluable in maintenance and learning of Computer science.
