The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Yes it is a pity there is no source, the problem in distributing source is
that you need some way to authenticate that the client has *really* searched
their keyspace. This is difficult to do without actually getting the client
to send proof of tests and the server retesting them, which obviously defeats
the purpose of having clients working on the problem ;). In other words
all the security is in the client, not good but hard to do any other way, not
distributing source appears to me to be the only way of waking it non-trivial
for someone to misreport their key-searches (imagine if the evil misreporter
was actually given the space with the solution in it, many years of computer
time down the toilet!).
