The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

You will always have wars asking this or the opposite thing.
RPM has one 'R' too many, and dpkg has one 'd' too many.

The only solution would be to work toghether building a _new_ packaging
system derived from both and that is able to install differently on a
Debian and on a Red Hat system (because of different policies).

I would also avoid the idea of letting debian's packages install as they
are, over a Red Hat system:
our packages have problems installing on a Debian system because there's
too much variables on play and we can't test all, so the probability
that a debian package installed on a Red hat system breaks that system
are much more, ending in a poor figure for the Debian name.
