The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

The spam filter has been shut off for a long time now - it didn't work all
that well. I put some site filtering on lists.debian.org . I would have put
in IP filtering, but the IP filtering list has been shut down due to legal
threats from the spammers. I think part of the problem is that they published
the list - if it had been a private subscription-only service it would have
gotten around the legal hurdles.

The $1000 fee needs a lawyer willing to work for us pro-bono to prosecute
and collect. So far, no volunteers.

I've been thinking about keeping an IP filtering list as a semi-commercial
project. We could either do it as a fund-raiser for SPI, or outside of SPI.
It definitely needs doing.
