The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Re: Security bugfix for Samba (fwd)

Well, I can take sambades too if nobody else wants it. Right now I am
trying to figure out how to port to libc6 all the libraries Samba depends
on (lipam0, libpam-util and libpwdb). None of these have been ported. I
started with libpwdb but am getting lots of compilation errors.

I sent a message to the maintainer of these libraries (Klee) and I am
waiting for his reply.

Your suggestions for Samba sound good to me.

When my maintainer application is processed I will make official the
packages I am maintaining (Klee is waiting for me to send a scanned
image of my passport so I can prove I am for real :-).

In the meanwhile, I consider _urgent_ to take care of the security
hole in Samba by releasing a new Samba package ASAP to both hamm and bo,
no matter the new package is against libc5. (probably this has already
been done but I missed any other message regarding this in debian-private).

See ya.
