The debian-private mailing list leak, part 1. Volunteers have complained about Blackmail. Lynchings. Character assassination. Defamation. Cyberbullying. Volunteers who gave many years of their lives are picked out at random for cruel social experiments. The former DPL's girlfriend Molly de Blanc is given volunteers to experiment on for her crazy talks. These volunteers never consented to be used like lab rats. We don't either. debian-private can no longer be a safe space for the cabal. Let these monsters have nowhere to hide. Volunteers are not disposable. We stand with the victims.

Let's get back to doing what Debian is supposed to be doing - getting
a high quality, free Linux distribution out to the masses.

Give Ian have some time to institute some of the changes he proposed.
2-3 months should be sufficient. Then we can hold a confidence vote.
If you want, you could hold an actual election at that time instead.
This will add some stability and give us time to get 2.0 out the door.
Your proposal will lead to at least a month of (continued) chaos.

I would be surprised if Ian wouldn't go for something like this.
