The problem here (with Novell specifically) is that it supports Microsoft in a half-hearted fashion and if you, as a GNU/Linux user, complain to the Library of Congress, Webmasters will then insist that you can download some dysfunctional code from Novell and pray you can compile it to get something semi-working (and don’t forget to ‘buy’ software patent protection for it from Microsoft).

Even Miguel protested against the license just over a month ago. Coming from Miguel, one of Microsoft’s biggest fans, what does that tell you about his outlook?

Whether Microsoft might reuse OOXML bits like VML to buy an ISO for XPS and XAML, I really don’t know, but we have to shake up ISO ASAP. Microsoft is ‘raping’ a lot of the system and throwing incentives in many directions (Yahoo included) in order to change or halt market dynamics.

If Microsoft gets their way, it will be the end of the internet as we know it. (think about it, All multimedia applications will have to be view on a Microsoft platform). No more take internet every where we are use to.
