As I have stated before, I am here for several reasons. Primarily I’m here to argue that Roy is so consumed with hate that he can’t possibly be fair, objective, balanced, and honest in his work. He is by any practical definition an extremist who wants to shame people into using FOSS. Like any extremist, there are usually others like him who are willing to believe anything he says. Your testimony on his behalf fails to impress me in the slightest. It’s not just Roy’s views that are extreme, but the fact they take such a large precedence in his personal and private life. Roy’s life SHOULD be scrutinized. Only then will you see WHY he fails to be fair and objective.

Viewed another way, it’s also a curious and somewhat amusing situation surrounding a sub-culture in the computing world. It so mirrors politics and region, but I’m frequently bored with those topics. This is something new to engage in that more closely matches my interest in education, technology, and journalism.

Robotron, if Roy says there are 10,000 unique visitors a day then I believe him. I would also like to see more of the people who live in irc to leave comments in day to day articles. If you believe what you say then why do you keep coming back here to comment? Why do you also keep making remarks about who is supposedly suspiciously supporting him?
Roy if I read your previous post correctly congratulations on finishing your doctorate and double for doing what you think is right rather than rushing for a salary.

Roy claims 10,000 unique visitors per day…. but where is everybody? Most articles are left without any comments at all. If this site is so popular why is there so little evidence of activity?

Just imagine, if Roy can generate six or more articles per day part-time, how much could he produce if he worked on this website full-time? How can Roy afford his extensive education yet not worry about paying off school debt? If he’s not working, who is supporting him financially? Why does he say “we will focus” when he’s the only one writing the articles?
