The new Meego-based N9 phone is already getting good early reviews, and I think they would have down great being allowed to go down this pat uninhibited, not just for them but for Free software. In that light, it’s no wonder why Microsoft targeted them, and we can only hope that they are able to fight the Microsoft influence and restore the company for the future. The critical and commercial success of Meego/GNU+Linux phone will certainly go a long way to helping that restoration.
