The reason the wages are so low for MSCEs is because as employees, they are darn near worthless. In a few cases, being worthless would be an improvement over their current value.

Be that as it may, the trolls in HR see the MSCE certification and mistake that for having something to do with computers. Thus some do get hired, even if only a small fraction it is still a large number. The world is full of flies, bluebottle flies, greenbottle flies, and so on. Some fraction of those also getg in the house despite screening.
