It’s very hard to find a competitor for the combination of OS X and Logic 8 in the terms of stability and usability. Please, don’t run away with the idea of recommending Ardour and Jack to me. I compiled every single version of the software myself 2 years, tried out and tested but the results weren’t satisfactory at all.
