One more “evil empire” rising (or already here)?

You’d do well to take your own advice, mate. But regardless, this is the last time I acknowledge your trolling on this site ;-)

People without good arguments to make but with a lot of hatred tend to use harsh clinical terms. Be a man and get your mind (and language) out of the gutter.

It was used in a classic sense of biological infection. You’re sort of a bizzare reverse-Godwin’s Law. You make comments about “Conspiracy Theorists”, yet you voraciously attempt to find and insert vulgarity, hatred, and ulterior motives in Roy (and Shane’s?) posts that aren’t there, ala repeated attempts to link their commentaries with Nazism. This is classic CT behavior ;)

You’re bordering the slanderous.

Nazis (and racists in general) mis-use biological terms for social phenomena. They portrayed Jews as an ‘infection’ for the body of the German people and claimed to have traced their ‘tainting’ influence on the German race and culture everywhere. This whole ‘infection’/’tainting’-hysteria about Novell very, very strongly reflects a dangerous mindset.

Not a Nazi term. That should be simple enough to understand ;-)

Again “infect”. Please get the Nazi-vocabulary out of your system, OK?

Please stop bringing nationalist connotation to this. The words ‘infect’ (or ‘contaminate’) needn’t invoke Godwin’s Law. They are used elsewhere in the same context, so I merely borrow them.

Compare the functions shown in the videos below:

What do you think? Will google bring iPhone power to everyone who can’t afford apple products? That would be great :D

Whether it’s Andriod or Silverlight.

I don’t think he understands. They already have a quick small VM (dalvik) for their phone. We already have a quick small VM (java) for our desktops. Lets not EEE and consume them all with Mono.

TBH, I’m not happy with Google writing yet another VM, but if that’s what they need to avoid Sun royalties/quirks (to make phone companies less dependent on Sun control), then so be it.

‘Sun released their “free java” source code under the GPLv2 to both win the free software crowd and capture peripheral innovation and bug fixing from the community.’

Then again, have a look at what I found just hours I had posted this quick one. The last thing one needs on these phones is a .NET-like framework that Microsoft deliberately excludes from its patent deals.

I believe Microsoft has a plan and I wonder how it’s coordinated with Mono developers (if at all). Mind you, some of them still support OOXML and even help Microsoft address comments (on behalf on Microsoft). They are on the team that attacks ODF using a proprietary format, essentially.
