Now, the Applesoft duopoly absolutely cannot afford to motivate users to look elsewhere, particularly a more by the day are moving to FOSS, which is performance-driven, unlike Applesoft. This also highlights the benefits of user-oriented FOSS over Applesoft’s toy operating systems, especially in light of Ububntu’s Unity. Changing user interfaces in ridiculously easy for us, but impossible beyond trivial tweaks for the walled gardens.
