I was shown examples where people systematically get modded down for comments that doubt Microsoft. Over at Digg, for a fact, 4 or 5 people systematically mod down any comment I post (I posted about 14,000 comments in that site). These are the same Munchkins from USENET actually. I know their usernames. They ruined Digg for some.

Check out, slashdot.org is owned by M$.

All anti OOXML news is suppressed. Only pro-microsoft news is what I find today at slashdot.org

No, it isn’t. It is actually from the same group of people that made sourceforge, so if you would link slashdot to MS, those would be bad news.
The problem with slashdot, is the firehose, I think it is being widely abused by MS monkeys. I hope that thing gets removed or fixed. Anyways, just insist, sometimes I’ve seen my story submissions about MS getting rejected but a few hours later another submission about the same article emerges and is approved, the monkeys cannot monitor the firehose all day long.

I think comment moderation is still a place they didn’t take over yet, every once in a while my anti silverlight/OOXML/MS/MONO comments would get modded up significantly, so, there’s still hope.

If you watch traffic ranks (e.g. Netcraft, Alexa) of Slashdot and Digg you’ll find that they are sinking, Slashdot in particular. It would be natural to lose sight of fairness and objectivity under such circumstances, but I could be wrong.

I received about 4 E-mails yesterday which bemoan the state of Slashdot and Digg. It’s more widely acknowledged.
