_goblin | now I know its ok | Dec 21 20:22 |
_goblin | its just knowing | Dec 21 20:22 |
schestowitz | plasmoids are easily installable | Dec 21 20:22 |
_goblin | btw that reminds me | Dec 21 20:22 |
schestowitz | easier than with proprietary OSes, same for adding wallpapers, plasma themes, etc. | Dec 21 20:23 |
_goblin | why cant you just right click on the desktop to change the wallpaper...? | Dec 21 20:23 |
schestowitz | in kde 3 it was not easy | Dec 21 20:23 |

MinceR | in what way? | Dec 21 22:37 |
cubezzz | moving away from Communist to Democracy | Dec 21 22:38 |

MinceR | except that they were all made of commies left over from the previous dictatorship | Dec 21 22:39 |
*__Goblin is now known as _Goblin | Dec 21 22:39
MinceR | then on the last big election fidesz/kdnp (still mostly leftover commies) gained 2/3 of the seats in the parliament | Dec 21 22:39 |
*ChanServ gives channel operator status to _Goblin | Dec 21 22:39
MinceR | if the zombies wanted to avoid this, they could have, by voting the other way in the 2nd round of elections | Dec 21 22:40 |
MinceR | they did not | Dec 21 22:40 |
MinceR | and fidesz/kdnp took advantage of the legal opportunity to destroy democracy | Dec 21 22:40 |
MinceR | and the zombies didn't complain much | Dec 21 22:40 |
MinceR | in the last midterm election, the fidesz/kdnp candidate got over 58% of the votes | Dec 21 22:40 |
MinceR | so you can see that the voters are OK with dictatorship and a methodical destruction of the economy | Dec 21 22:41 |
MinceR | i've lost all my faith in the people who live here | Dec 21 22:41 |
cubezzz | and they mostly use windows too :) | Dec 21 22:41 |
MinceR | in 2006, when a recording where the prime minister said he lied to win the election was leaked, there were massive riots and arson | Dec 21 22:41 |
MinceR | now there were minimal protests | Dec 21 22:42 |
cubezzz | oh well, the Canadian Government isn't too good on that score either | Dec 21 22:42 |
MinceR | even after the cable where orban told diplomats _prior to the election_ that he was going to lie to get elected | Dec 21 22:42 |
MinceR | so hungarian voters in general can go fuck themselves, this is their doing | Dec 21 22:42 |
MinceR | and this is the reason they'll die of famine or disease or be eaten by the gypsies who remain | Dec 21 22:42 |
MinceR | i don't care | Dec 21 22:42 |

schestowitz | they still call it "democracy" | Dec 21 22:45 |
cubezzz | well, they still have elections so... | Dec 21 22:45 |

schestowitz | so does the cult nation | Dec 21 22:45 |

MinceR | they did not permit "fascists" (that is, anyone who was not a toady of the russians) to run in the elections | Dec 21 22:46 |
MinceR | so the commies got over 90% of the votes every time | Dec 21 22:46 |
MinceR | practically all decisions were made inside the party | Dec 21 22:50 |
MinceR | and that is back again | Dec 21 22:50 |
cubezzz | so which party did you vote for in the last election? | Dec 21 22:52 |
MinceR | there was a time when there really was only one candidate in each race, and the "vote" was expression of disapproval with that | Dec 21 22:52 |

MinceR | cubezzz: LMP | Dec 21 22:54 |

MinceR | so they were left | Dec 21 22:55 |
MinceR | well, there are multiple "green" parties now, but only one of them could get into the parliament so far | Dec 21 22:56 |
MinceR | i don't think the others could even nominate lists | Dec 21 22:56 |
MinceR | (we have this idiotic nomination system which is effectively a non-secret vote) | Dec 21 22:57 |

MinceR | but none of this matters anymore | Dec 21 23:01 |
MinceR | the nazis gave foreigners citizenship with voting rights, allowing them to vote in a country they don't live in and don't pay taxes in, and most of them will vote for the nazis out of gratitude | Dec 21 23:02 |
