schestowitzSometimes they seem to become zombie processes. It is not improved by the script being not-so-thoroughly-tested and freenode being erratic and unpredictable. One option that I do for clients sometimes is brute-bruce killall some processes matching a pattern, then restarting them, say... every 6 hours. Another option is to do a cron job with diff on ps (plus some arguments). If the output file is non-empty, an e-mail alert gets sent.Jun 11 13:17
